Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 30, 2026
Owner action needed
Before this policy is final, the operator should confirm: the registered legal/business name and address, the official contact address for privacy requests (currently [email protected]), and the payment processor used for paid plans. These items are flagged inline below.
This Privacy Policy explains what information CloudGrid ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use our website and services, why we collect it, and the choices you have. CloudGrid is operated by a small independent business based in the Philippines. We aim to keep this plain and honest — we are not a large enterprise and we collect only what we need to run the service.
Who we are and how to reach us
For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your email address and a password when you register, or your basic Google profile (name and email) if you sign in with Google.
- Profile information — anything you add to your account profile.
- Files and content — the files and data you upload or store using the service. This is the core of the product; we treat your content as yours.
- Messages — anything you send us by email or contact form.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data — IP address, browser type, and timestamps in our server logs, used for security and to keep the service running.
- Cookies — a small number of cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.
Why we use your information
- To create and operate your account and provide the service.
- To store and serve the files and content you choose to keep with us.
- To handle billing and entitlements if you are on a paid plan.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.
- To respond to your messages and support requests.
- To meet legal obligations that apply to us.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account data and stored files, except where we are required to keep certain records (for example, billing records) for a limited period to meet legal or accounting obligations. Server logs are kept only for a short operational window.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers we rely on to run CloudGrid, and only as needed:
- Hosting and storage — our server host and the cloud object-storage providers where files are kept.
- Authentication — Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Payments — our payment processor, if you buy a paid plan. We do not store full card numbers ourselves.
- Legal — authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.
Your rights and choices
You can:
- Access and update your account information from your profile page at any time.
- Export the files you have stored by downloading them from your account.
- Delete your account directly from your profile settings. Deleting your account removes your stored data as described under "How long we keep it".
- Contact us to ask any question about your data or to request its deletion, at [email protected].
Children
CloudGrid is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under the age required to form a binding contract in their country. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
